Cemeteries

Dungog Shire Council operates 7 Cemeteries, consisting of Dungog, Clarence Town, Paterson, Munni (also known as Quartpot), Salisbury, Belgrave (also known as Eccleston) and Bandon Grove Cemetery.

Please contact Council's Customer Service staff for further information regarding available plots within the Cemeteries, and availability in the Columbarium walls at Dungog and Paterson. 

The below forms can be used for a Burial or Columbarium reservation or for immediate use after checking the availability with Customer Service staff first. A reservation or Interment is not finalised until a contract has been completed.

Dungog Cemetery

The Dungog Cemetery is located on the southern edge of town and is the main cemetery for the Williams River Valley. It was established in the mid 1800's and was known as Hanley's Flat Cemetery.

The Cemetery consists of a Lawn Cemetery, Columbarium, Catholic, Weselyn, Presbyterian, Church of England, Unalotted, Baptist and General Divisions.  

Clarence Town Cemetery

Clarence Town Cemetery is situated along Cemetery Road, Clarence Town. It consists of Methodist, Church of England, Catholic and Presbyterian Divisions.

Paterson Cemetery

Paterson Cemetery is situated along Webbers Creek Road, Paterson. It includes a Columbarium, Church of England, Methodist, Jewish and Roman Catholic Divisions.

Salisbury Cemetery

Salisbury Cemetery is situated off Salisbury Road, Salisbury.

Munni (Quartpot)

Munni (Quartpot) Cemetery is located along Salisbury Road, Munni.

Belgrave (Eccleston) Cemetery

Belgrave (Eccleston) Cemetery is located along Allyn River Road, Eccleston.

Bandon Grove

Bandon Grove Cemetery is located along Chichester Dam Road, Bandon Grove.
