ROADS

WATER OVER ROAD/CLOSED SIGNS:

Currently there are no reports of significant water over roads, however some roads have minor road closures in place.

 

Removing or tampering with council warning signage and barriers could result in someone being seriously injured. Members of the public are urged NOT to remove these items at any time.

BRIDGES

CURRENT BRIDGE CLOSURES:   

GRESFORD SUSPENSION BRIDGE - REOPENING TO LIGHT TRAFFIC FROM 5PM FRIDAY 28 JUNE

Council is pleased to advise that the bridge will be re-opened to normal light traffic (less than 3t) at 5.00pm today, Friday 28 June 2024.

 Council requests that the load limit be adhered to.

 Emergency Services have been notified of the re-opening and the information on Transport for NSW’s Live Traffic App will also reflect this re-opening.

GRESFORD SUSPENSION BRIDGE: 3T Load Limit

Heavy Vehicle access via Paterson River crossing, subject to flooding.

 

All remaining bridges are open with ongoing monitoring of weather impacts. Dungog Shire Council Updates will be provided as they become available and we thank you for your co-operation.
